Scripture: Romans 12:13 (NRSV)

"Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers."

Reflection:
Hospitality isn’t just about being polite—it’s about stretching beyond yourself. Paul reminds us that generosity and welcome are essential parts of faith. Extending hospitality involves creating a sense of belonging for others, especially those who feel like strangers—whether in the church, at your job, or on your street. Sometimes, the most meaningful welcome is simply noticing who feels invisible and saying, “You belong here, too.”

Application (Action):
Think of a space where you have influence—a table, a group, a ministry, or a conversation. Today, intentionally make room for someone new or someone on the margins.

Where do you see hospitality being lived out well? Where does it need to expand further—and how might you contribute?

Prayer:
Gracious God, stretch my heart to make space for others. Let my actions reflect your hospitality and my relationships mirror your mercy. Teach me to welcome others not just with words but with my life—so they may know they belong here, too. Amen.
