Scripture: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.” — Philippians 2:3 (NRSV)
Reflection:
A heart written by grace beats with humility. The closer we draw to God, the more we notice others — their needs, their stories, and their worth. God’s inner work prepares us to love outwardly. To have Christ written on our hearts means being shaped for service, ready to see the image of God in every face we meet.
Application:
Practice humility today: listen without interrupting, serve without seeking recognition, give without expecting anything in return.
Writing Prompt:
How is God transforming your heart to see and serve others in a new way?
Prayer:
Christ of compassion,
soften my heart toward those around me.
Shape my spirit for humility and love
so that your presence becomes visible through me.
Amen.
