Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:6a — “a time to seek, and a time to lose.”
Reflection:
Uncertainty can be one of the hardest seasons. Not knowing what comes next, waiting for answers, or feeling stuck leaves us restless. But uncertainty is also where faith grows. When we cannot see the way forward, we learn to trust the One who walks with us.
Faithfulness during uncertain times involves patience and prayer. It means holding on when we want to let go and trusting in God’s timing instead of our own.
Application: Take five minutes today to sit in silence. Resist the urge to fill the space. Breathe and remember God is with you, even in uncertainty.
Writing Prompt: What questions or unknowns am I holding right now? How can I offer them to God in trust?
Prayer:
God of mystery, thank you for being with me when I don’t know what comes next. Give me patience in uncertainty and the courage to trust your presence. Amen.
