Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:2a — “a time to be born, and a time to die.”
Reflection:
Transitions mark the boundary between what was and what will be. They carry both sorrow and potential. As individuals and communities, we face transitions — new jobs, moves, leadership changes, or even the loss of familiar ways of being.
Ecclesiastes reminds us that life's transitions are part of its rhythm. God calls us not to deny the pain of endings or to fear the hope of beginnings but to hold both together. Faithfulness means moving forward, trusting in God’s steady presence.
Application: Encourage someone else who is in transition. Send a message or offer support to remind them they are not alone.
Writing Prompt: What transitions am I experiencing right now? How is God meeting me in both the loss and the possibility?
Prayer:
Faithful God, thank you for being steady when life shifts. Help me hold both grief and hope in this season of transition, trusting you with what lies ahead. Amen.
