Scripture: Isaiah 41:5–10 (NRSV)
Key Verse: “Do not fear, for I am with you.” (Isaiah 41:10a)
Reflection:
Peace is active, not passive. It is practiced together through compassion, courage, and shared presence. Joseph demonstrated peace by choosing solidarity. Mary demonstrated peace by trusting God’s promise. God demonstrates peace by remaining with us.
As the Christmas season continues, we bring love into everyday life. Peace becomes something we share, especially when fear feels near. It is built through small acts of faithfulness, kindness, and care.
Love has brought us to the manger. Peace calls us to keep moving forward—together.
Application:
Extend one small act of peace today—such as a kind word, a listening ear, or a gesture of care.
Writing Prompt:
What would it look like for you to practice peace in your daily relationships?
Prayer:
God of peace,
teach us how to live what we have received.
May love guide our steps
and peace shape our days.
Amen.
