Scripture: Jeremiah 1:4–10 (NRSV)
Key Verse:
“I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.” (Jeremiah 1:8)
Reflection:
God’s call is never only about the individual; it’s about the world God longs to heal. Love invites us into work that builds, plants, and restores. Even when fear whispers doubt, love continues to point us toward hope.
Mary and Jeremiah remind us that love does not wait for perfect conditions. It moves through ordinary people willing to trust God’s presence and purpose.
As Advent brings us closer to Christmas, love prepares us—not just to receive Christ, but to embody Christ’s compassion in the world.
Application & Reflection Prompt:
How might God be inviting you to build or plant something life-giving?
Write about one way you can live love more intentionally in the coming week.
Prayer:
Creating God,
use our lives as instruments of your love.
Prepare our hearts to welcome Christ by loving boldly and faithfully.
Amen.
