Scripture: Micah 6:8 (NRSV)
Reflection:
A star-word does not require dramatic changes or sweeping resolutions. Most of its work happens quietly, woven into everyday life. It influences how we listen more attentively, respond more gently, or choose courage in small but meaningful ways.
We often overlook the power of small changes. But faith is built more through consistent presence than grand moments, by how we show up even when no one is watching. A word becomes real not when we fully understand it, but when we let it influence how we live.
This is how transformation typically happens: gradually, faithfully, and often without notice, until one day we realize we’re no longer in the same place where we once stood.
Practice:
Choose a small action today that shows attentiveness, kindness, or integrity.
Writing Prompt:
How might this word or season be shaping me in ways I haven’t yet realized?
Prayer:
God of daily grace,
help me live faithfully
in the small, ordinary moments of this day.
Let my life reflect your love
through presence, not perfection.
Amen.
