Scripture: Colossians 1:19 (NRSV)
“For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell…”
Reflection
As this week ends, we revisit the mystery at the core of Colossians: the fullness of God living in Christ—and through Christ, living with us. This is the foundation of our hope. The God who heals everything is not distant. God is close by, working through quiet acts of love that spread farther than we realize.
Reconciliation isn’t only a gift from God; it’s also our responsibility. Every choice to forgive, every conversation rooted in love, and every moment of courage that creates space for healing—these serve as signs of Christ’s reign among us.
As we stand between Thanksgiving and Advent, we remain in a season of sacred anticipation. Christ is reconciling all things—and we are part of that story.
Application
Perform one intentional act today that fosters reconciliation—reach out, repair, apologize, or encourage.
Writing Prompt
Where do you feel Christ guiding you to participate in the work of healing and reconciliation?
Prayer
Holy God, dwell fully in us as you dwell fully in the world. Guide our steps into your reconciling work. Make us vessels of grace, bearers of peace, and partners in the healing you are bringing. Amen.
