Scripture: Acts 2:44–45 (NRSV)
“All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need.”
Reflection:
This early description of the Church isn’t about forced sharing—it’s about deep trust. When we love one another, generosity becomes natural. When we grow together, we begin to see our lives as connected, not separate. Their common life was a witness to uncommon grace.
Application:
Give something away today—money, time, a skill, or encouragement—to meet a real need.
Writing Prompt:
What’s something God might be inviting you to share more freely—for the sake of someone else’s growth?
Prayer:
Generous God,
You have given me more than enough.
Teach me to live with open hands and an open heart,
so that others might see your abundance through me.
Amen.
