Scripture: Psalm 106:1 (NRSV)
“O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.”
Reflection
Thanksgiving arrives in a world that feels anything but simple. Gratitude doesn’t erase the fractures in our stories; it reminds us that God’s steadfast love is still holding everything together. The psalmist gives thanks not because life is perfect, but because God’s love endures through every season.
Today, our gratitude is connected to reconciliation. We thank God for the relationships that sustain us, even the imperfect ones. We give thanks for the healing already taking place, even if we can’t see its full extent. We give thanks to Christ, who is guiding all things toward wholeness, even when the world feels divided.
Gratitude becomes a form of trust—a way of saying, “God, I believe you are not finished with us.”
Application
Name three things you’re grateful for today—one joyful, one unexpected, and one still developing.
