Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NRSV) — “Be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord.”
Reflection:
Paul’s encouragement isn’t about heroic deeds; it’s about humble consistency. The work of love, justice, and mercy is rarely glamorous. It often feels repetitive — making meals, visiting neighbors, offering prayer, listening deeply, and remaining patient when it’s inconvenient.
But this is the place where love grows. Not through grand gestures, but through everyday choices to show kindness. Every small act rooted in God’s love contributes to the larger transformation God is working in the world.
When we remain faithful in the small things, God multiplies what is unseen.
Application:
Choose one small spiritual or relational practice to practice consistently today.
Writing Prompt:
What small, everyday acts of love have influenced you the most?
Prayer:
Faithful God, grant me joy in the little things today. Let my simple acts of love be part of your greater work of healing in the world. Amen.
