Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:9
“For we are God’s servants, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.”
Reflection:
The rebuilding in Haggai’s time was not a solo effort. Every stone lifted depended on another’s help. Paul echoes this truth: we are co-laborers with God. The temple God constructs today is not made of stone but of living hearts united in love and service.
When we pray, give, serve, and forgive, we engage in something greater than ourselves. United, we become a sanctuary for grace—where God’s presence is revealed through how we love one another.
Application:
Reach out to someone who serves beside you in ministry or life. Offer a word of gratitude or encouragement.
Writing Prompt:
How is God calling you to “build together” with others right now?
Prayer:
Master Builder, thank you for calling us into your work. Unite our hearts and hands so that what we build together reveals your love. Amen.
