Scripture: Luke 24:30–31 (NRSV)
“When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened…”
Reflection:
Jesus is often revealed at the table—in everyday moments of sharing food and presence. Breaking bread fosters trust because it encourages us to slow down, receive, and remember. Whether it’s Communion or coffee, something sacred occurs when we create space for others.
Application:
Take time today to share a meal or coffee with someone. Focus on connection, not productivity.
Writing Prompt:
Where are your “tables of trust”? Who are you being called to invite to the table next?
Prayer:
Jesus,
You met your friends with grace and bread.
Help me create space for others to be fed—not just physically, but relationally and spiritually.
Amen.
