Scripture: Acts 2:43 (NRSV)
“Awe came upon everyone, because many wonders and signs were being done by the apostles.”
Reflection:
We often seek awe without devotion. But in Acts, awe followed shared prayer, shared meals, and shared lives. When we show up consistently in community, we begin to notice God’s movement more clearly—because we pay attention together.
Application:
Spend five minutes today simply noticing God’s presence—whether in your surroundings, in a conversation, or in your emotions. Name one sign of awe aloud or share it with someone else.
Writing Prompt:
When have you experienced awe in community? What did that experience awaken in you?
Prayer:
God of wonder,
Help me not to rush past the beauty of what you’re doing.
Let awe rise within me—not as a performance, but as a response to your goodness.
Amen.
